Hair Fix
How’s it going everyone 👌! Wanted to make a “relaxing” themed drawing so went for a more pastel-y palette on this illustration. A short explanation about this piece: I’m a bit experimental with colors… but sometimes it’s tricky to not over-do colors because the piece starts feeling too random, and that’s something that can happen easily. Something I found that helps me with making the colors not seem random is to place clues of hues throughout the illustration. For example, I like using blue on the hair, and if that hue was only showing in that part of the illustration it’d feel out of place… so what I do to help it is also putting the blue on the skirt, arms and other parts throughout. I think it unifies the whole thing. Hope you guys find that interesting 😅Anyway, hope you guys are having a great week!👋

Haven’t posted a referenced drawing in a bit so here it is! Stumbled across this one and I had to draw it. I really like angles like these but they can be pretty tricky to draw! My illustrations have been a little glow-y lately too. 😊
