Motorcycle girl, more fun with “ink” and “watercolor”
Today I’ve been having some sort of art block. Only way to get out of it is to….
well…
keep drawing!
Hair Fix
How’s it going everyone 👌! Wanted to make a “relaxing” themed drawing so went for a more pastel-y palette on this illustration. A short explanation about this piece: I’m a bit experimental with colors… but sometimes it’s tricky to not over-do colors because the piece starts feeling too random, and that’s something that can happen easily. Something I found that helps me with making the colors not seem random is to place clues of hues throughout the illustration. For example, I like using blue on the hair, and if that hue was only showing in that part of the illustration it’d feel out of place… so what I do to help it is also putting the blue on the skirt, arms and other parts throughout. I think it unifies the whole thing. Hope you guys find that interesting 😅Anyway, hope you guys are having a great week!👋

Girls with purses
HEY GUYS; sorry i haven’t posted as frequently as before. Got busy with some real life stuff. But I should be able to come back to normal!
More of behind the scenes on how I use reference pictures for these.
As you can see I just want to stay true to the idea of what I see, but always feel free to change things as I go. My proportions on my character design have huge heads so it’s easier to draw the overall gesture first, just like I’d do in life drawing, then stylize with exaggerated proportions over the gesture.
